Accounts

After leaving The University of Manchester in 1994 with an honour's degree in Mathematics, I kind of stumbled into the Accountancy profession!  I was offered a job within a small practice in Stockport where I trained in all aspects of Audit and Accounting. I was chosen for my current position in 2005 and have been kept a prisoner here ever since!!  I was brought into the firm to keep the 'Engine room' ticking over with my main role being that of Accounts preparation, dealing with a client base spanning from one-man-band Sole Traders to large Limited Companies. Over the years, my role has evolved to dealing with a portfolio of clients offering many different forms of Accountancy services to suit their needs, though my initial foundations in Account's preparation are still very much in place.

Away from the office, I am a family man with a keen passion for angling, taking part in competitions most weekends. I also enjoy listening to good old fashioned Rock music and I am quite partial to the occasional bar of chocolate!”
